Two particular officers befriended a number of real troublesome teenagers, gave them rides to town and stopped and talked at length with the kids in the projects (never really leaving their cars though). Both officers were transferred. The kids drew up a petition and presented it to Capt. Smith, Capt. Smith reassigned the officers to Globeville. (NIP) |
