The wind turbines emerge as a global, trillion-dollar defeat. A single commercial unit costs US$ 1.2 Million to US$ 4 Million.
20-25 years is the predicted lifespan. The cost of maintenance and the risk of failure is high. The inveronmentally doubtful investment has no chance to pay off. The projects created a false sign of technological progress, delusional response to calls for "moral obligation to save our Planet" and short-lasting hope of the financial stability for the trained technicians.
At the end is the taxpayer money transferred to the private corporations.
